National Mentoring Day

At Clearcover, we value growth from within, and one way we support this is through our Future Summit Leaders program, hosted by our Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Council (EIDC). This mentorship program, which includes workshops, worksheets, mentoring sessions, and helpful resources to support leadership development, is all about fostering a diverse talent pipeline and building a community of employees who raise the bar, fuel innovation, and drive success throughout our organization. Within the last year, the EIDC has successfully launched two cohorts, each spanning 6-months and totaling over 30 participants.

As we celebrate National Mentoring Day on October 27th, we're proud to highlight this initiative, which aims to help our team members reach their full potential through mentorship, creating a culture of ongoing learning and development company-wide. Here's a glimpse into what some of our mentors and mentees have to say about their experience in the Future Summit Leaders Program at Clearcover:

Clearcover's Employee Resource Group: Clearcover African American Network

Since Clearcover's Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Council (EIDC) launched Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) last year, Clearcover-ers across departments have created and joined spaces where they can interact with team members who share their common backgrounds or interests.  The groups' Slack channels, which are open to anyone in the company, have quickly become sites of shared stories and photos, requests for advice, offers of support, and virtual large and small group meet-ups.  Parents, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and women at Clearcover had all formed their own ERG's when Claims Manager Jerrell West recognized an opportunity for African American Clearcover-ers to have their own community.
